The Texas A&M Athletics Department is offering complimentary tickets to furloughed federal workers for Saturday's events in Aggieland.
Any United States government employee currently on furlough can show their valid government ID on event day this Saturday to receive two free tickets to either the men's basketball game at Reed Arena or the track & field meet at Gilliam Indoor Stadium.
Men's basketball hosts the Missouri Tigers in a 2:30 p.m. contest. Men's and women's track and field hosts the Texas A&M Triangular against TCU and UTEP with events beginning at 1:15 p.m.
No advance purchase is available. The offer is not valid on previously purchased tickets.
Admission for tennis and swimming & diving on Saturday is already free for all fans. Women's tennis hosts UTSA at 10 a.m. and Houston at 2 p.m. Men's and women's swimming & diving has a dual meet against LSU slated for 11 a.m.
