Aggie Ring Day
The Aggie ring is the most recognizable symbol of the Aggie Network. Each year, thousands of excited Aggies gather to pick up their Aggie Rings. From 10 am till 7 pm at the Clayton Williams Alumni Center, Aggies can pick up their class ring. For more information visit HERE.
Movie at George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum
The final film of the 2018 Summer Film series will be Despicable Me 2 at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. Bring blankets or lawn chairs for a film under the stars. There will be games and free refreshments starting at 7 pm. While the movie will begin at sundown. Coolers are allowed but not pets or glass containers.
Washington County Fair
Friday is Children’s Day as well as Honor Our Veteran’s day at the Washington County Fair. With proper ID, veterans can enjoy the fair at half price till 6 p.m. It’s also Children’s day which invites teachers with Preschoolers to 1st grade students to the fair. Entry is free for the kids and a hot dog meal is served along with desert and refreshment. Home-school students are also welcomed but RSVP is required.
Saturday September 22
Texas A&M vs #1 Alabama
The Aggies will play #1 Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant–Denny Stadium. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. and watch on CBS.
Brazos Valley Bee School
The Brazos Valley Bee School is starting this Saturday from 8 a.m. till 5 pm. It will be held at the Agrilife Center and Agricultural & Life Sciences Building on Texas A&M University Campus with parking in lot 100C. Kids ages 12-17 are $15, individuals are $60 and a couple is $100. Lunch is included if you register online HERE. This year’s bee school is once again bein co-sponsored by the Texas A&M Honey Bee Lab.
Washington County Fair
