BRYAN, Texas — A man that went missing around midday on Sunday, July 7 at Lake Bryan was found dead from drowning has been identified.
According to the Bryan Police Department, around 1:30 p.m. that day, they were called in to help find a person that had gone missing. It was reported that the man that had gone missing had fallen off of an inner tube and hadn't returned above the surface to get air.
Bryan PD were soon assisted by the Bryan Fire Department and Texas Game Wardens. Around 3:05 p.m., the body of the man that had gone missing was found.
The body of the man that had died was identified as James Andre Roots, 52, of Shreveport, Louisiana.
