College Station--

Hunger U, a group combatting world hunger, brought their interactive tour bus to Texas A&M's campus as part of their Spring 2014 college tour.

The organization is part of the Farm Journal Foundation. Students could take quizzes to learn about the world food crisis.

Hunger U estimates that farmland is disappearing at a rate of two football fields per second.

"I think it starts locally before it starts internationally, so if we can develop new technology here and provide those overseas after we find out they work here, I think that's a little bit easier than doing it the other way around," said Cody Dubberley, a sophomore at Texas A&M.

The bus will visit eight states as part of their tour.
